Artist StatementConstant, work, self development and looking for ego have made me able to turn the ideas into material with which I would like to touch every kind of sensitivity and intelligence in order to be naive and deep at the same time. I want to help the viewer get across from the world of material to the world of our senses.
The glass is able to represent all these in a distinct way, which in itself carries mentality but giving it a form allows it to enter the world of mystic transcendence. My artworks keep exploring the hidden virtues of glass.
I melt the glass into molds in a furnace, the same way I conceive the ancient glass sculptures were made. This is followed by grinding and polishing. The latter process can be very elaborate, depending on the complexity of the Sculpture.
